Student Financial Management is responsible for the financial management of all aspects of the student and university loan accounts for current and previous students, the administration of scholarships and bursary programs, and ensures that the university fulfills its responsibilities as a designated institution in the Canada Student Loans and in the US Federal Direct Loan programs.

This includes tuition assessment and billing for all students, tuition collection and processing, management of student tuition receivables, administration of scholarship programs to reward academic achievement, delivery of financial aid bursary payments to students with financial need, administration of all student loan programs following all regulatory requirements, management of university loan and advance accounts, and distribution of T4A tax forms.

In addition, the unit also provides finance, budgeting, procurement and human resources services to departments within Enrolment Services and International Student Initiative.
