About the Conference

Staff and faculty members who advise undergraduate and graduate students are invited to join together for a day of professional development and community building at the third annual UBC Advising Conference. The Conference Planning Committee is excited to bring together a dynamic program with keynote speaker Dr. Jennifer Bloom on The Appreciative Advising Revolution; concurrent sessions tailored to a variety of professional development needs; and a closing session with Dr. Jay Wickenden - Beyond the Myth of the Academic Disposition.

Participants will leave the conference with new ideas, skills, and connections.
