About the conference
Staff and faculty members who advise undergraduate and graduate students are invited to join together for a day of professional development and community building at the sixth annual UBC Advising Conference. Participants will leave the conference with new ideas, skills, and connections.
The Conference Planning Committee is excited to bring together a dynamic program with keynote speaker Dr. Elizabeth Dunn, Professor in the Department of Psychology at UBC who conducts experimental research on self-knowledge and happiness, with a current focus on how mobile technology can both support and undermine human well-being.
