A President's Advisory Committee is being convened under University Policy AP12 (formerly Policy #18) to select the next Vice-Provost and Associate Vice-President, Academic Affairs for the Vancouver Campus.

A second call for nominatinations is open for the following three elected positions on this Committee:

  • Two faculty members* elected by and from the faculty members of the Vancouver Campus - Nomination Form
  • One undergraduate student elected by and from the undergraduate students registered in a degree or diploma program at UBC Vancouver  - Nomination Form

*For the purpose of these elections "faculty member" is defined as those persons with the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Professor of Teaching, Instructor, Senior Instructor or Lecturer. Please note that sessional, emeritus, clinical, adjunct, partner and honorary faculty are not eligible to run, vote or nominate in this election.

Nominations will be accepted until 4:00pm on Thursday, September 26th, 2019. Instructions for completing and submitting a nomination are listed on the forms themselves.  Please be aware that the completed form should be accompanied by a personal statement of no more than 250 words prepared by the nominee in support of their candidacy.  Word limits and deadlines are strictly observed.
