Student Advising and Support Systems
Supporting student learning and success is a priority for UBC. Early Alert helps achieve this goal by helping faculty, staff and TA’s provide better support for students who are facing difficulties that put their academic success at risk.
Online Advising Management System helps the UBC advising community provide consistent, timely, integrated support to students. As of Spring 2013, OAMS supports advisors serving over two-thirds of UBC’s student population.
Student Information Systems (SIS)
The Student Information Service Centre is used for admissions, fees, awards, courses, grades, and communications.
The Faculty Service Centre allows instructors and TAs to access class lists, enter grades, and email students in specific courses.
The Scheduling and Curriculum Management Centre is used for course, exam, and room scheduling, and curriculum management.
Integrated Renewal Program
The Integrated Renewal Program is a business process transformation and system implementation program. Our current HR, Finance and Student systems will be replaced with Workday, a user-friendly, industry-leading, cloud-based, enterprise solution.
