A by-election to fill a vacancy on the Board of Governors for the remainder of the 2020-2023 triennium (a term ending 31 August 2023) is currently underway. Nominations are open for the following one (1) position:

  • Okanagan Campus Faculty Representative

Eligibility 

For this election, faculty members assigned to the Okanagan Campus with the ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Professor of Teaching, Associate Professor of Teaching, Assistant Professor of Teaching, or Lecturer are eligible to be nominated, to nominate candidates, and to vote. Clinical, adjunct, emeritus, sessional, partner, and honorary faculty are not eligible.

Submitting a Nomination

Instructions for completing and submitting nominations are on the form itself. Forms and statements should be scanned and emailed to UBC Elections at elections.information@ubc.ca by the deadline above. Word limits are strictly observed and late nominations will not be accepted. The receipt of all nominations will be confirmed via e-mail within 24 hours of the close of nominations.
