Dear Colleagues,
I have been involved with UBC for over 25 years as a student, alumni and staff member.
For 14 years I have served UBC in the field of IT management, the first 6 years in the School of Nursing in the position of IT Manager. The last 8 years I have been the Senior Client Services Manager for UBC IT, where I have worked with a number of units and faculties including Pharmaceutical Sciences, Allard School of Law, Medicine, Education, Dentistry, Land and Food Systems, and Development and Alumni Engagement Services, providing IT guidance, leadership, planning and strategic support.
As a part of the UBC community I deeply care about decisions and policies that affect our staff. Doing what is right is a principal I live by and will always guide the choices I make.
My extensive knowledge of UBC combined with professional experience in the private sector gives me a balanced perspective to be an effective representative.
I would be honoured to represent you, my colleagues, on the Board of Governors and believe that together we can make a difference.
