I have been a member of the UBC community since 2011. My current role is Manager, Academic Initiatives in the Faculty of Health and Social Development Dean’s Office, managing strategic academic projects for the Faculty. I have previously held positions of Laboratory Coordinator and Sessional Instructor in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences (2011-17). Additionally, I have had the opportunity to engage with students as volunteer Head Coach of the UBC Heat Cross Country running team (2011-14), earning a CCAA national women’s team title in 2013.

Professionally, I am motivated to gain a better understanding of how UBC works: its goals, progress, and how strategy is implemented. I feel this experience would inform my existing work and assist our Faculty in staying aligned with UBC’s strong trajectory. I care deeply about UBC and I would be honoured to have this opportunity to engage in public service where I would obtain an enriching return on my commitment.

I hold a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours Kinesiology) in Movement Science and Master of Human Kinetics in Applied Human Performance (Biomechanics), both from the University of Windsor.
