I am a Professor in the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences. I joined UBC Okanagan in 2015 as Head of the Department of Earth, Environmental and Geographic Sciences. I wish to assist in identifying an outstanding scholar and administrator to lead UBC Okanagan during an important period of growth and change catalyzed by implementation of the 2040 Campus Plan and the UBC system-wide Strategic Plan. The ongoing transition of UBC Okanagan to an internationally competitive research-intensive institution requires leadership possessing vision and a commitment to fostering an environment that enables and inspires academic excellence. I would be pleased to serve on the Advisory Committee seeking an accomplished individual to lead UBC Okanagan during the next stage of its development.
