I am honoured to have been put forth as a nominee to serve on the Committee for the selection of the next UBC Chancellor and I seek your support and vote. UBC has been the centre of my professional and academic life for the past twenty two years, from undergraduate through postgraduate years to my current appointment as Acting-Head of the UBC Law Library and Adjunct Professor at the Allard School of Law.

My experience as a student, instructor, librarian, and administrator has provided me with a broad perspective of UBC that I believe will inform my service to this Selection Committee. In addition, as a current Trustee of the North Vancouver School Board, I appreciate the importance of strong governance and leadership. As senior statesperson for the University and member of the Board of Governors, the next Chancellor will play an important role in the overall governance of our fine institution and in helping UBC realize its strategic goals in the coming years.

I would be honoured and excited to represent the UBC staff on this selection committee.
