This is an election being held to fill the one position for an elected staff representative from the Vancouver Campus on the committee for the selection of the next Chancellor of the University. All staff members* of the Vancouver Campus are eligible to vote in this election.
*For the purposes of this election, "staff member" is defined as those employees of the Vancouver campus who do not hold an appointment meeting the definition of "faculty member". "Faculty member" is defined as all persons with appointments in the ranks of Professor (Full/Associate/Assistant), Instructor, Senior Instructor, Professor of Teaching, or Lecturer on the Vancouver Campus.
Voting Instructions
- Go to the WebVote system
- Log in with your CWL credentials
- Click “Vote” next to “ 2019 Chancellor Search Committee - Representative of the Staff of UBC Vancouver"
- Vote for your preferred candidate by clicking on the box next to the candidate’s name
- Click on “Submit Vote” then click “ok” to confirm your submission before logging out.
Polls open at 2:00pm on Thursday August 22nd, and will close at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5th, 2019.
