Business and Solutions Support

The Business and Solutions Support team (formerly Student System Management) works closely with the Integrated Service Centre (ISC), UBC IT, and other key stakeholders in providing technical and operational support of the Workday student ecosystem. This includes training, access management, and business analysis support for process and system improvements.

Scheduling Services

Scheduling Services is responsible for the overall coordination of the University's general teaching space. The team coordinates academic course schedules, ad hoc use of classrooms, and final examinations.

Functional Areas: Course scheduling, exam scheduling, standing deferred and supplemental exams, ad-hoc room bookings

Senate & Curriculum Services

Senate and Curriculum Services supports the academic governance of the University through the Vancouver and Okanagan Senates, the Council of Senates, Senate standing committees, and the Faculty Councils. The unit is also responsible for the publication of the Academic Calendar.

Student Financial Management

Student financial management includes financial management of student and university loan accounts for current and previous students. The team also facilitates the administration of scholarships and bursary programs.

Student Records Management

The Student Records Management team provides support with course registration, transcripts, transfer credit coordination, and academic record management. The team is also responsible for the overall coordination of the University's graduating students.

Student Recruitment & Undergraduate Admissions

The Admissions team receives, evaluates and processes applications for undergraduate admission into academic programs at UBC. The recruiting team, positioned on both campuses, works on domestic recruitment initiatives and provides services to prospective students, their families and secondary schools throughout Canada.

Student Support & Advising

Student Support & Advising provides advice and support to prospective and current students across all areas of Enrolment Services, through dedicated advisors – Enrolment Services Advisors. The team is also responsible for ensuring that the university fulfills its responsibilities as a designated institution in the Canada Student Loans and in the US Federal Direct Loan programs.

Get Workday support

Workday support for faculty, staff, and others who work at UBC is provided by the Integrated Service Centre (ISC). This includes Workday Student, HR, Finance, Payroll, and more.

For help with Workday, visit Get Workday Support in the UBC Self Service Portal to submit a Workday support request. For urgent issues, or to follow-up on a request, you can also contact the ISC by phone at 604-822-8200 (UBCV) or 250-807-8163 (UBCO). Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri (except for statutory holidays)

Note: While UBC students cannot access Workday Student support through the UBC Self Service Portal, faculty and staff can submit a Workday Student support request or contact the ISC on behalf of a student. Students who work at UBC can request Workday support related to their job/position.
